BRING YOUR APPETITE
At the Patrick Melville Salon in New York City, nail technician America Valentin
offers pedicures that soothe the feet—and the appetite. Each decadent treatment
is accompanied by a matching snack for an added dose of fun and luxury. The
Oatmeal and Brown Sugar Pedicure (shown here) includes a calming footbath
of finely textured oatmeal followed by a gentle exfoliating brown sugar scrub,
performed while the client enjoys a bowl of organic oats garnished with fresh
fruit and a mixed-berry oatmeal compote with all-natural brown sugar. Other
scrumptiouss ervices include the Green Tea Pedicure and the Milk & Honey Pedicure.
LOUIS VUITTON
STRIKE IT RICH
For the Louis Vuitton spring 2009 collection
shown at Paris Fashion Week, designer Marc
Jacobs took exotic to a new extreme. CND nail
stylists complemented the designer’s decadent
gladiator sandals with a coat of CND Nail Noir on
well-groomed toes. Rich shades add a high-end
dramatic flair to feet all year long, and summer’s
open-toed styles provide the perfect opportunity to
show them off. Other hues that achieve this look
include CND Decadence, a deep jewel-toned red,
and NP Chandelier Shine in Milan, a shimmering
amethyst color from the new line of nail polishes
from renowned makeup artist Napoleon Perdis.
