I’ve always been a big supporter of our industry events. I truly
believe that they present the perfect opportunity to mingle with
industry clients, colleagues and friends. They’re also great places
for professionals to learn, see and touch new tools and products,
experience amazing presentations by top platform artists and, of course, shop!
Of all the shows I go to, I must say that IBS New York has an energy and vibe that is
unmatched within the industry. There’s something so powerful about attending a show
in the heart of the Big Apple with some of the hippest beauty professionals around. I’m

If you can’t make it to IBS New
York, why not book a trip to Las
Vegas to attend IBS Las Vegas,
April 24 to 26? It’s the biggest
professional beauty show in the
region, not to mention an excuse to
go to Vegas. For more information,

Hanna Compton is a student at The Cao Institute, a
Paul Mitchell Partner School in Alhambra, CA. She’ll be
sharing her experiences in this space and on our blog (blog

become a beauty professional.
It’s time to make money! We kicked off our FUNraising efforts with Paul Mitchell this
year by raising money for Haiti through hosting cut-a-thons at all of the schools.
Each school made more than $1,000 dollars, all of which we donated to Haiti relief.
But there’s more fundraising to do for Paul Mitchell, and for all the organizations we
support. Things are going great so far, so come join in and help out!
