has secured Angelo Seminara his rightful spot among hair royalty. By Kelley Donahue
Angelo Seminara has, over the past decade, been named the 2007 British Hairdresser of the Year
at the British Hairdressing Awards as well as the 2008 Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year by the
Fellowship for British Hairdressing. He’s likewise captivated clients and inspired beauty professionals
around the world with his imaginative techniques and fashion-forward coif creations. But perhaps the
artist’s ultimate coup came in 2010, when he was again crowned British Hairdresser of the Year for
the extraordinary work in his Ten Portraits Collection. “Treating hair like a fabric in Ten allowed me to
push style to the very limit,” says Seminara about his portfolio inspired by iconic personalities from
different eras. “These favorite works of art of mine were created by mixing elements from several
styles to achieve a unique texture. The hairstyles are all different, yet still look beautiful.”
